BetMGM Expands Online Gaming Operations with Scientific Games Collaboration
MGM Resorts and GVC Holdings’ BetMGM is set to expand its online gaming and sports wagering operations through a closer collaboration with Scientific Games and BetGenius.
BetMGM will leverage Scientific Games’ OpenGaming suite, which encompasses a diverse range of games and a platform for seamless game integration. This will enable BetMGM to offer its own games and titles from third-party providers.
BetMGM will also gain access to specialized tools designed to enhance player engagement, such as free spins and bonus earning opportunities.
OpenGaming is currently operational with BetMGM in New Jersey, with plans to expand into Pennsylvania and other US states subject to regulatory approval. This marks a continuation of an existing partnership between GVC and Scientific Games, where GVC has previously utilized Scientific Games’ games in international markets.
“This is a strategic alliance, and Scientific Games will remain a key component of our online gaming growth trajectory,” stated Matthew Sunderland, a representative of BetMGM.
