Betano Partners with Sporting CP for Two-Season Sponsorship Deal
A well-known online wagering firm, Betano, has become the latest supporter of Sporting CP, a renowned Portuguese football club. The agreement will span two seasons, with the possibility of extending for an additional two years. Betano’s emblem will be prominently displayed on the front of the team’s uniforms.
Betano has been actively involved in the Portuguese market since 2019, forging collaborations with other Portuguese clubs, including SC Braga and CS Maritimo. They also have partnerships with teams in Greece, Cyprus, and Romania.
In January, Betano expanded its reach by becoming the primary sponsor of Atlético Mineiro, a Brazilian football club. This marked their initial commercial arrangement outside of Europe.
Betano, owned by Kaizen Gaming, operates in numerous countries including Brazil, Germany, Romania, Greece, and Cyprus. OPAP, a company owned by Sazka, holds a substantial share in Betano.
