With the Cheltenham Races nearing, online wagering platform BetUK has revealed the addition of recently retired soccer star Adebayo Akinfenwa as its newest brand representative.

Nicknamed “The Beast” for his imposing build, Akinfenwa’s collaboration aligns with BetUK’s largest promotional effort ever for Cheltenham. The firm is presenting a ‘Wager £20, Receive £60’ offer for the festival, commencing on March 14th.

Akinfenwa, whose last team was Wycombe Wanderers, will be the face of BetUK’s Cheltenham initiative across their marketing platforms. He joins champion jockey Peter Scudamore and former England footballer Teddy Sheringham as a BetUK ambassador.
