Continent 8 Technologies has landed a substantial five-year agreement with the Gibraltar Administration. This pact reinforces Continent 8’s standing as the favored supplier of data center and accommodation services to the Gibraltar Administration.
This fresh arrangement expands a longstanding collaboration initiated in 2011, now extending through 2027. Continent 8 furnishes crucial digital framework and capability from its highly protected data center, nestled deep within Gibraltar’s Rock. The site was originally a defense installation, situated 500 meters underground.
David Black, EMEA Managing Director at Continent 8 Technologies, expressed his excitement: “We are immensely pleased to be selected by the Gibraltar Administration as their hosting collaborator for mission-critical infrastructure over the coming five years. We engaged in a fiercely contested bidding procedure, and ultimately, our proposal was chosen for its robustness and all-encompassing nature.”
Black further highlighted the company’s advantages, stating, “Our top-tier Gibraltar data center, housed within the former defense facility deep inside the Rock of Gibraltar, provides unmatched levels of protection. This, coupled with our extensive offerings spanning colocation to public and private cloud, makes us the reliable infrastructure associate for both domestic and global enterprises.”
He concluded, “As a worldwide enterprise operating in over 85 interconnected locations globally, we take pride in delivering highly localized solutions within the markets we serve, and we will persist in this approach as we pursue our ambitious international growth strategies.”
This announcement follows another positive development for Continent 8 Technologies. Earlier this month, the firm appointed Kristian Valenta as its new Chief Financial Officer.
Hes currently the organization’s financial officer! Tobin, the chief executive, participated in an interview back in June on that program “Face to Face,” the one that focuses on video games, right? He discussed their ambitious goals for the times ahead. And this week, Justin Cosnett, their lead product developer, appeared on the program as well.
